●Material:Silk ●Size:W143×D43cm / 16g ●A concept scarf titled “Scarf Reflected in a White T-Shirt,” using traditional “Hikizome” dyeing techniques. The artisan’s skills create a sophisticated and stylish design by combining large graphics with vivid and soft hues. Each piece is hand-cut from fabric dyed with unique patterns, making every scarf one-of-a-kind. It elegantly combines Tokyo’s tradition and modern style. ●Artist:Fujiya Dyeing Studio The ‘Hikizome’ technique, where the fabric is suspended between two pillars, stretched, and then dyed with a brush, is a skill preserved and inherited by Takatoshi Nakamura, the third-generation owner of Fujiya Dyeing Studio. Hikizome is a technique used to determine the base color of kimonos, and instead of soaking the fabric in dye, it is applied with a brush, allowing for a high degree of freedom, such as incorporating gradations and patterns. Mr. Nakamura’s desire is not for people to choose the products just because they are traditional, but because they are genuinely appealing, and this has taken shape in the development of new products. https://sites.google.com/view/fujiya-somekoubou/home https://www.instagram.com/jantle_official/
