Miyakawa Bristle Brush Co., Ltd., founded in 1921 in Moto-Asakusa, Taito-ku. The second-generation craftsman, Akio Miyakawa, was recognized by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare as an ‘Outstanding Skilled Worker (Modern Master Craftsman).’ The third-generation Kumiko, who currently runs the shop as a craftsperson, has inherited these techniques.
They apply the techniques used to create professional products, which are precisely purchased by not only domestic but also overseas painting artists and chefs, to general items, offering a wide range of products.
