The umbrella features twice the usual number of ribs, made of carbon fiber, making it lightweight and strong. The hogushi-ori technique, which is synonymous with the company, is a complex process that involves weaving a tentative cloth with one tentative thread every few centimeters, applying colors one by one by hand printing, removing the dyed threads, and then weaving the cloth again.
