●Material:Japanese paper, Bamboo ●Size:19.5cm(Width with fan open : 34cm)/20g ●Artist:Onishi Kyosendo Onishi Kyosendo was said to be founded between 1830 to 1843 and its current head is the 9th generation. At the time, the shop name was Yamatoya which was used by Shobei Yamatoya until it was changed to “Kyosendo” in the Meiji era. In the past it was located at the end of Tokaido, near Sanjo Ohashi where the shop served as purveyor to each head temple including the temples of Myoshiji, Chionin, and Nanzenji. While delivering temple fans, Kyosendo produced every other folding fan for general use as well as for dance and tea ceremony which enjoys the attention of visitors from both home and abroad. https://www.instagram.com/onishikyosendo/
